The most used SVN software that I know of "Tortoise subversion" cannot download you svn as your svn is stored in a odd format, will you be actually moving the project to codeplex so people can actually download it and follow the project better?

There should be nothing unusual about the format of the SourceForge SVN repository; SVN is SVN. I myself am using TortoiseSVN for this project.

Could you tell me what specific problem you're having so I can try to reproduce it on my machine?

TortoiseSVN Log

Command:
Checkout from https://xigameengine.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xigameengine xigameengine, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included
Error:
Could not understand the requested SVN filesystem
Finished!:

Dont know why its not working, Iv'e always had trouble getting anything from sourceforge however so it could be related.

Works find here. SourceForge does go up and down sometimes. Might try again later. If that doesn't work, you could always try reinstalling TortoiseSVN et al.

If the problem persists, I will consider moving the repository to Codeplex.

Thanks again for raising the issue :)

Ahh I will try it a few times later then.

Codeplex repos do work very well however.

Definitely noted. And please do give me a note if you can't get it down from SourceForge after you try again later :)
